Vivo IPL 2021: RCB’s Adam Zampa and Kane Richardson pull out of IPL 2021.

Vivo IPL 2021: In a big blow to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB’s), Australian cricketer’s Adam Zampa and Kane Richardson have pulled their names back from the fourteenth edition of the Indian Premier league citing “personal reasons”.

“Adam Zampa & Kane Richardson are returning to Australia for personal reasons and will be unavailable for the remainder of the IPL season. Royal Challengers Bangalore offers complete support to them in all the possible ways we can,” RCB said in a statement.

With this, they become the second and third Australian cricketer’s to withdraw their names from the ongoing IPL season after Rajasthan Royals (RR) Andrew Tye.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) Director of Cricket Operations Kumar Sangakkara on Saturday night informed that the pacer will be leaving India due to fear of getting stuck out of his country. Tye had a flight of 4 AM in the morning of Sunday.

“AJ Tye flew back to Australia earlier today due to personal reasons. We will continue to offer any support he may need,” wrote Rajasthan Royals (RR).

The main reason for these cricketers withdrawing their names from the IPL 2021 is the recent surge in the covid-19 cases in India. The country is recording over 3 Lakhs covid cases on a daily basis.

Many states have imposed strict lockdowns and have asked the citizens to stay at home and step out in case of emergency.

Many big celebrities and cricket players have also come forward knowing the situation in India urging all the fans and the people of India to stay back home and watch IPL responsibly at the comfort of their homes.
